Far Off Broadway Players Theater Troupe Bring Piece of the Big Apple to the Barrens

A talented group of local residents makes up the Far Off Broadway Players, a community theater troupe that brings three vibrant performances – along with occasional special offerings – to the historic Plaza Theatre each year. The troupe formed more than 25 years ago and eventually disbanded when it ran out of places to perform. But when the historic Plaza Theatre was refurbished and reopened several years ago, the performers had a place to call home. The group started up again in 2006 and is still going strong with about 30 members from all different professions. Visit
